Radical Rocky Road

Who doesn't love rocky road!? This is one of the most 'moreish' recipes we have. You will struggle to stop once you've started! It's so simple and easy to make and such a great healthy alternative to the traditional version. Just remember to be patient and let it set before digging in.


  • ½ cup of puffed millet, puffed spelt or puffed rice
  • 1 cup of almonds (or your favourite nut- hazlenuts also work well)
  • ½ cup of raw cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp of almond butter
  • ¼ cup of cacao nibs
  • ½ cup of coconut oil
  • ½ cup of goji berries
  • 1 tsp bee pollen
  • ¼ cup of rice malt syrup
  • ½ cup of coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp of maca powder
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence



  1. Melt coconut oil in a small saucepan.
  2. Once melted add rice malt syrup and raw cacao powder and stir until combined.
  3. Remove from heat and stir through remaining ingredients.
  4. Line a medium sized baking tray or container with baking paper and pour in rocky road mixture. Transfer to the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours before serving (we recommend freezing overnight if possible.)
  5. Store in the freezer.
